Floral Whimsy - 2026 Summer Stitch Along

Sign ups are now open for this summer’s (virtual) hand embroidery stitch along. This is our third annual summer of stitching together! We begin on June 6th with all videos being published on YouTube. I uploaded a short video which explains some of the details of the stitch along.

I designed an embroidery pattern especially for this summer’s stitch along, rather than using existing quilter fabric as a base for embellishing as we have done the past two years. This approach will provide a better surface for exploring the stitches while still producing a beautifully stitched project at the end of the summer. If you want to stitch along following the pattern I am using, you have the option of purchasing a PDF download (available May 20th), a white Essex linen fabric panel with the design pre-printed along with a pattern and stitch guide, or a kit with fabric, pattern, threads, hoop, and needle. The fabric and kit are currently available at a discounted price as a preorder until May 10th, with shipping by May 20th.
